Tell me about one ordinary day in the life you're working toward. I'll write it back to you as a vision you can actually keep.
It's an ordinary Tuesday, years from now, and you've got the life you've been working toward. Where do you wake up? Who else is in the house? What do you do with the day? And what are you not worried about any more?
Type it badly. Full sentences optional, spelling irrelevant. Two minutes is plenty, and the more specific you are the better this works. Rather be walked through it first? Watch the guide.
Where the six come from. PERMA is Martin Seligman's wellbeing model, set out in his 2011 book Flourish: positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment. Vitality is a sixth that coaches added later, because the body kept turning up in people's answers and the original five had nowhere to put it. It describes what a life is made of. It is not a test, and this is not a score of you. The wheel only shows what you put in the paragraph.
Present tense, because that's the point. Read them out loud once before you do anything else. Any line is yours to edit, just click on it and type.
A vision you can't find again isn't a vision. This is the part almost everybody skips, and it's the part that decides whether any of it happens.
